Dhaka: As part of dialogue with different stake holders, the Election Commission (EC) held talks with election experts, including former chief election commissioners, election commissioners, on Tuesday.

The meeting was held in the city’s Nirbachan Bhaban with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda in the chair.

The meeting that began at 11:00am ended at 1:25pm with the participations of 16 election experts out of 26 invitees.

The participants include former chief election commissioners  Justice Abdur Rouf and Dr ATM Shamsul Huda, former election commissioners Brig Gen (retd) M Shakhawat Hossain, Sohul Hossain, Md Saiful Alam, Mohammad Abdul Mobarak, Mohammad Abu Hafiz, and Md Shah Nawaz, Election Commission’s former secretary Humayun Kabir, former IGP Mohammad Hadis Uddin, former director general of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, former local government senior secretary Monzur Hossain.
