Dhaka: The Public Service Commission or PSC has published the results for the written tests of the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service or BCS examinations on Wednesday.

A total of 5,379 aspirants have qualified for the oral test, PSC Chairman Mohammad Sadiq said.

‘There are some pending matters to be addressed. The schedule for the oral test will be announced later,’ he said.

As many as 243,476 job-seekers took the preliminary tests on Sept 30 last year, of which 8,523 qualified for the written tests.

In February 2016, the PSC published the circular for the 37th BCS exams to appoint 1,226 first-class gazette officers.
