Dhaka: Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested three members of a gold smuggling gang carrying 9.33 kilograms of gold from Airport road in Dhaka on Wednesday night.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known immediately.

Tipped off, a team of DB North conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio along with a car and the consignment of gold, said a SMS sent by DB police on Thursday morning.
