Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid returned home on Sunday morning from London after his health checkup and treatment.

‘A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying President Abdul Hamid landed in Dhaka at 8:45 am,’ President’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told UNB.

Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhit, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, British High Commission to Bangladesh, Cabinet Secretary, Chiefs of three of Services, IGP, Foreign Secretary and high civil and military officials received the President at VVIP lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here.

Abdul Hamid took his checkup at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London.

He left Dhaka for London on October 21.
