Dhaka: Around 12 hours after a woman and her son were found murdered in Kakrail, a man and his daughter was found dead on the roof top of their building at Badda in Dhaka on Thursday morning.

The deceased are Jamil, in his thirties, and his daughter, Nusrat, around 9 years old.

Being informed, police recovered the bodies from a building at North Badda graveyard road.

The Badda police Officer-in-charge (OC) Kazi Wazed Ali said Jamil along with his family members used to live in a room at the third floor of the building, which is the roof of the house.

Police, meanwhile, detained Arjina, wife of Jamil, from the crime scene for interrogation

Primarily it has been believed that Jamil was stabbed to death while his daughter was suffocated to death.

The OC said the bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.

Earlier, on Wednesday evening, a woman and her son were found murdered at their six-storey building at VIP Road of Kakrail, opposite to Willes Little Flower School and College.
