Dhaka: A case was filed over the killing of a woman and her son in the city’s Kakrail area, accusing three people, including the victim’s husband and his third wife.

Ashraf Ali, brother of victim Shamsun Nahar, filed the case on Thursday night, said Mainul, officer-in-charge of Ramna Police Station.

The accused are Abdul Karim, husband of Shamsun Nahar, his third wife Sharmin Akhter Mukta, and her brother Al Amin alias Jonny.

On Wednesday, Shamsun Nahar, in her forties, wife of Abdul Karim, and their son Shawon, around 22 years old, were found killed at their multi-storey building in the city’s Kakrail area.

On information, police went to the six-storey building at VIP Road of Kakrail, opposite to Willes Little Flower School and College, and recovered their bloodstained bodies.
