Dhaka: A teacher of a private university in Dhaka had been missing since Tuesday afternoon, said police.

The missing person is Mobashar Hasan Caesar, an assistant professor of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in North South University.

The Khilgaon Police Officer-in-charge (OC) Moshiur Rahman said Caesar left his residence at about 7:00am on Tuesday for his classes at the university. However, his mobile was found switched off from 4:00pm and he did not return home on that evening.

OC said Caesar’s father, a retired government official, Motahar Hossain filed a general diary (GD) with Khilgaon police at about 12:30am on Wednesday, mentioning disappearance of his son.
