There will be restrictions on traffic inside the Dhaka Cantonment on November 21 as a number of programmes have been chalked out marking the Armed Forces Day.

All vehicles except those carrying cantonment residents and the invited guests have been asked to avoid the roads inside the cantonment from 7:00am to 10:30am and 12 noon to 8:30pm on the day, said an ISPR release on Friday, reports the UNB.

The Armed Forces Division (AFD) regretted the possible inconvenience due to the restrictions on the traffic.

It also requested all on-duty officials to be present by 3pm at the afternoon reception at the Senakunja and the invited guests to be present by 3:15pm, the release added.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships open for visitors in Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj, Khulna, Mongla, Barisal and Chandpur from 2:00pm to 4:30pm on the day.
