Dhaka: Police on Tuesday detained former footballer and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leader Aminul Hoque. He is now at Shahbag police station. Police detained Aminul on Tuesday afternoon from in front of High Court. 

Shahbag Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Mohammad Zafar Ali told NTV Online police detained Aminul from the High Court gate and he was brought to the police station. 

However, no details of the complaint against Aminul could not be known immediately.
