Two man killed in city ‘gunfight’ with detectives
Two unidentified youths were killed in a ‘gunfight’ with members of the Detective Branch (DB) in the city’s Badda area early Friday.
Officer-in-charge of Badda police station Kazi Wajed Ali said the two youths, aged between 25 and 30, were found seriously wounded after an exchange of fire with DB men at Aftabnagar in the city, reports the UNB.
The bullet-hit youths were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where doctors pronounced them dead around 6:00am, said sub-inspector Abdul Quader of the police station.
