3 Indians held foiling intrusion bid

Benapole: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained three Indian citizens for intruding into the Bangladesh territory through Putkhali border on Saturday night, reports UNB.
The arrestees are Ayub Ali, a resident of Sundarpur village of Uttar Chabbish Pargana, Oliv Biswas, and his brother Proshad Biswas, a resident of Bangha village of Nadiya.
Golam Ahmed, camp commander of BGB 21 Battalion, said a member of BGB detained the trio while they were entering Bangladesh after crossing the River Ichhamati at night.
After a flag meeting with Border Security Force of India (BSF), BGB handed the arrested Indian nationals over to BSF at about 12:00am.
