Narayanganj: Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Model Police Station was temporarily closed on Monday as he allegedly misbehaved with a newly promoted Superintendent of Police in the district. 

The closed cop is identified as Mir Shahin Shah Parvej, Officer-in-Charge of Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station. 

According to SP office source, ASP Mostafizur Rahman instructed Parvej to free the footpaths from illegal occupancies on BB road near Sadhu Poul Church as the local DC was scheduled to visit there on the occasion of Christmas. 

But the OC denied to go there and asked ‘Do I have to look after the footpaths as an OC of Sadar Police Station?’
Later, the ASP handed a suspension letter to Parvez in this regard.
