Customs officials seized some 32.7 kg of gold, worth Tk 16 crore, from a flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here on Monday night. 

Assistant commissioner of Dhaka Customs Shahiduzzaman Sarker said a flight of Malindo airways, 'OD-162', coming from Malaysia landed at the airport 11:15pm.

 Tipped off, a team of customs officials conducted a search at the aircraft and recovered the unattended gold from a seat-cover.
