Panchagarh: At least four people were injured as miscreants set fire to a BRTC bus and a truck at Boda upazila in Panchagarh in the early hours of Wednesday.

The injured are truck driver Shuman, 25, truck owner Shaawkat Ali, 48, bus driver Al-Amin, 35, and driver’s assistant Lalon, 24.

The victims said that six miscreants on a bike set fire to the vehicles which were parked at Bagduljhula bazar after pouring petrol in between 3:00am to 4:00am.

Boda Police officer-in-charge Majnur Rahman told NTV the vehicles’ workers informed police that the miscreants were carrying revolver and petrol.
