Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Director General Md Tofazzel Hossain Miah has been appointed as the personal secretary-1 to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification on Thursday in this regard, reports the UNB.

According to the notification, Tofazzel will hold the post as long as Hasina remains prime minister or she desires him to continue.

The post of the PM’s personal secretary-1 fell vacant after Sajjadul Hassan was made acting secretary to the PMO earlier in the day.
