Senior BNP leaders sat in a meeting with foreign diplomats here on Tuesday to brief them about the country’s overall situation centring the court’s verdict against their chairperson Khaleda Zia in a graft case set to be delivered on February 8.

The meeting began around at 4:30pm at Khaleda’s Gulshan office, reports the UNB.

The diplomats included Hi Commissioners/Ambassadors of Japan, Nepal, and Deputy Ambassadors of Denmark, the UK, Switzerland, Canada, Germany, Morocco, Australia, Vatican, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Spain, the EU, Thailand, Pakistan, India and the Netherlands.

BNP leaders Moudud Ahmed, Dr Moyeen Khan, Mirza Fakhrul , Enam Ahmed Chowdhury  Dr Asadujjaman Ripon, Amir Kasru, Reaz Rahman, Adv Joynal Abedin, Sabiuddin Ahmed, Fahima Nasrin Munni and Rumin Farhan are present.
