A mild earthquake jolted parts of northern Bangladesh on Tuesday.

 The tremor, measuring 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale, was felt for about 14 seconds starting from 8:15pm in Natore, Bogra, Sirajganj, Rajshahi and Pabna, according to Dhaka Met Office.

The epicentre of the earthquake was in Natore.

However, no casualty was reported.
