RU Chhatra League leader gets death threat

Dhaka: A Rajshahi University Bangladesh Chhatra League leader on Saturday filed a general diary with the police after he had reportedly been threatened with death by a man deliberately chose to hide his identity.
Rajshahi University Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall BCL president Ariful Islam went to the police station at about 1:00pm and sought security from the police.
Psychology master’s student, Ariful Islam, on Thursday caught an Islami University’s first year law student on suspicion of being an Islami Chhatra Shibir activist.
Ariful also handed over the IU student, Akkas Ali, to police, who later named him in a violence case and the court sent him to jail. Akkas went to RU to attend an entrance test viva.
Ariful said some body called him at about 8:38pm on Friday and threatened him with death.
