Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday expressed deep shock at the death of Begum Fazilatunnesa, mother of Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.

In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her sympathy to the bereaved family members.

Fazilatunnesa died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in the city around 10:35pm on Monday at the age of 92.
