Obaidul Quader’s mother laid to rest

Begum Fazilatunnesa, mother of Road Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, was laid to eternal rest at their family graveyard in Rajapur village of Companyganj upazila of Noakhali on Tuesday noon.
Her namaz-e-janaza was held at Basurhat Government Mujib College ground after Zohr prayers, reports the UNB.
Fazilatunnesa died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in the city around 10:35pm on Monday at the age of 92.
She left behind five sons, five daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
AL Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman, State Minister for Jute and Textile Mirza Azam, Environment and Forest Deputy Minister Abdullah Al Islam Jakob, Morshed Alam MP, Organising Secretary Enamul Huq Shamim, district AL President Professor Khairul Anam Selim, Noakhali Science and Technology University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Wahiduzzaman, AM Ibrahim, MP, and Nizam Hazari, MP, among others, attended the janaza.
