Dhaka: Fatema Amin, mother of BNP leader Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, was admitted to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital in Dhaka on Thursday as she fell sick.

She was taken to the hospital in the morning after she suddenly fell sick, said Fakhrul’s personal assistant Yunus Ali.

Mirza Fakhrul, secretary general of BNP, along with his relatives is there beside his mother in the hospital.

The 86-year-old Fatema Amin has been suffering from various old age complications.
