Dhaka: A college student was stabbed to death during the Holi festival in the Lakshmibazar area of Old Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased is Ronok, believed to be 17 years old, a student of class XI at a college in New Paltan area of Azimpur. Ronok was a resident of Kamrangirchar area.

Dhaka Medical College police post in-charge official sub-inspector (SI) Bacchu Mia told NTV Online, Ronok was stabbed by miscreants at lane of Concord College near Victoria Park on Thursday afternoon.

Later, he was taken to DMCH at about 1:00pm, where doctors declared him dead.
