Dhaka: Police arrested five suspected people for their alleged involvement in the murder of a college student during celebration of Holi festival in Shakharibazar area on March 1.

Police arrested them from different areas of Dhaka on Monday night, said police.

However, the details about the arrestees could not be known immediately.

Mohammad Ranak, around 17 years, son of late Shahid Miah, a student of class XII of New Paltan Line School & College and a resident of Nilambar Saha Road in Hazaribagh, was stabbed to death by miscreants during Holi celebration.
