Singapore: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday visited the Port of Singapore, one of the busiest seaports in the world.

The Prime Minister witnessed the automation activities of the port in the afternoon, said PM’s press secretary Ihsanul Karim.

The port authority apprised her of the port activities and expressed their interest to help develop the Chittagong seaport for its automaton.

Acting Shipping Secretary Md Abdus Samad was present.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now in Singapore on a four-day official visit at the invitation of her Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong.
