Dhaka: A fire broke out at Central Hospital in the capital’s Green Road area on Thursday.

UNB quoting an operator at the Fire Service Control Room says, the fire erupted at the basement of the hospital on Green Road at about 1:30pm.

No casualties were reported immediately.

Fire fighters went to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 2:20pm, the operator said.

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire.
