PM greets Bangladesh cricket team
Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has greeted the Bangladesh national cricket team for clinching a thrilling six-wicket victory over Scotland in the group stage match of the World Cup Cricket 2015 in New Zealand on Thursday.
In a message of felicitation, the cricket loving prime minister especially thanked the national team players, manager, coach and officials of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for this outstanding feat.
Hasina hoped that the Tigers would continue their winning run and continue to uphold the red-green flag of Bangladesh in the World Cup Cricket overcoming all the barriers.
The prime minister also wished continued success of Bangladesh cricket.
Bangladesh beat Scotland by six wickets at Nelson, New Zealand on Thursday with their highest World Cup score of 322 runs, creating a strong chance for the Tigers to qualify for the quarterfinals.
