Nilphamari: Two people were killed and another was injured when a bus rammed into a pick-up van on the Dimla-Domar road at Kaliganj of Jaldhaka upazila in Nilphamari on Saturday, reports UNB.

A bus hit a pick-up van while overtaking in the area at about 7:30am, leaving bus passengers Jakir, 48, and Abul Kalam, 32, dead on the spot, and another passenger Saddam, 18, injured, said Obaidul Quader, officer-in-charge of Jaldhaka Police Station.

Injured Saddam was rushed to Jaldhaka Upazila Health Complex.
