Fakhrul out of danger, says physicians
Dhaka: Doctors on Tuesday said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, admitted to a city hospital, is now out of danger.
Fakhrul will be released on Wednesday as is now doing fine, BNP vice chairman Dr AZM Zahid Hossain said quoting his doctors at the United Hospital, reports the UNB.
He said an angiogram of the BNP secretary general was done around 9:15am. ‘Seeing the test report, doctors said they didn't find any abnormality in his heart. He's now out of danger.’
‘We hope, he'll return home tomorrow (Wednesday),’Zahid added.
Fakhrul was taken to the United Hospital after he complained of chest pain at his Uttara residence on Monday morning.
He has been given treatment under the supervision of cardiovascular specialist Prof Dr Momenuzzaman.
