Narsingdi: Four motorcyclists were killed when a bus hit two motorbikes on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway at Charabagh in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi on Friday.

The deceased are Ramjan Mia, around 17 years old, son of Asad Choukidar, Dalim Mia, around 14 years old, son of Hafizuddin, Shohagh Mia, around 18 years old, son of Sharif Mia of Morjal in Raipura upazila, and the bike driver Yamin, in his twenties, of Putia in Shibpur upazila.

Delwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Raipura Police Station, said the accident took place around 8:10am when a Dhaka-bound bus from Bhairab smashed two motorbikes carrying four people, leaving all the riders killed on the spot.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital morgue.
