BGB entertains BSF men with sweetmeats on Pahela Baishakh

Panchagarh: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) entertained Border Security Force (BSF) members with sweetmeats here on Saturday on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bangla New Year 1425.
Members of BGB Battalion-18 distributed sweetmeats among the BSF members of one frontier, two sectors, four battalions and 33 camps along different borders of the district, reports the UNB.
Commanding officer of the BGB battalion Lt Col Al Hakim M Nawshad said they distribute sweetmeats on different occasions like Bangla New Year, eid, national days and Indian Independence Day to strengthen the relations between the border forces of the two countries. ‘Sweetmeats were distributed on the Pahela Baishakh as part of it,’ he said.
