Manikganj: A young man was killed and eight others injured following a head on a collision between a bus and a utility vehicle on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Muljan area in sadar upazila on Sunday morning.

The deceased is Mintu Miah, in his twenties, resident of Ghior upazila.

Police said the collision took place around 8am when a Dhaka-bound bus of ‘Southern Paribahan’ hit the utility vehicle used as public transportlocally named as Leguna, leaving Mintu dead on the spot and eight other human hauler passengers injured.
