Bagerhat: A man and his minor daughter were killed while his wife sustained injuries when a bus hit his motorbike on the Bagerhat-Khulna Highway at Kathaltala in Fakirhat upazila of Bagerhat on Wednesday.

The deceased are Anisuzzaman, in his forties, and his daughter Ranisa, around 4 years old, said Azizul Haq, officer-in-charge of Katakhali Highway police camp.

The accident took place around 9:00am when a Dhaka-bound bus from Rayenda hit a motorbike carrying three people, leaving Anisuazzaman killed on the spot and injured two others, police said.
