Gazipur: A man was killed as a vehicle ran over him on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Dakhshin Salna area of Gazipur city on Monday morning, reports UNB.

Bahar Alam, sub-inspector of Nawroj Police outpost, said the vehicle hit Sultan uddin Mollah, 52, hailing from Charkham area of Kapasia upazila, while he was crossing the highway at about 7:30am, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information police recovered the body and sent it to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital.
