Sharif, a maternal uncle of the baby brought it to Azimpur Graveyard for burial. When the baby was being giving bath for burial, it stirred.

Later, the baby was taken to Azimpur Maternity Hospital where the doctors referred it to Dhaka Shishu (Children) Hospital.

Now the baby is undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital, said Sharif.

Contacted, DMCH Director Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin said the Hospital has formed a four-member probe committee, headed its assistant director Dr Bidyut Kanti Pal,  to investigate the incident.
