Pabna: A utility vehicle driver was found dead at East Kondaha in Sathia upazila of Pabna on Wednesday.

The deceased is Firoz Hossain, in his twenties, of Abdul Hannan of Rangamati village in the upazila.

Locals spotted the body of Firoz near a canal in the area and informed police around 8:00am, said Hasan Inam, officer-in-charge of Sathia Police Station.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Pabna General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Firoz came out from his residence after attending a phone call around 9:00pm on Tuesday and since then he remained missing, police said.

Miscreants might have killed him in the night over previous enmity and dumped the body there, said OC.
