In separate incidents, police recovered the bodies of three newborns from dustbins in Mymensingh and Kurigram districts on Sunday.

In Mymensigh, locals spotted the bodies of two newborns at two dustbins in Bagmara and Bhatikasore of Sadar upazila around 12 pm and informed police.

Sub-inspector of Kotwali Model Police Station Mahbubur Rashid said they recovered the bodies and sent those to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

In Kurigram, locals found the body of a newborn wrapped in a piece of cloth at a dustbin behind the local land office of Chilmari upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Chilmari Model Police Station Krishna Kumar Sarkar said they recovered the body and sent it to Kurigram General Hospital for autopsy.
