Cox’s Bazar: Police recovered the throat-slit body of a woman from Inani beach in Ukhia upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday midnight.

Being informed by local people, police recovered the body of the unidentified woman, aged around 25 years, at 12:00am, said Md Selim, sub-inspector of Inani Police camp.

Later, the body was sent to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy, he added.

However, the motive behind the killing could not be known immediately, police said.
