Jessore: At least 15-20 crude bombs were blasted in different parts of Jessore district in the early hours of Friday.

Witnesses said a group of miscreants, numbering 5-6, riding on three motorbikes blasted three crude bombs in front of Kotowali Model Police Station gate around 1.00am and left the place hurriedly.

Besides, 17 other crude bombs were set off in different parts of the district town including Daratana, Garikhana, Judge Court intersection and Stadium Para in the city, creating panic among the people.

Kotowali police officer-in-charge Shikdar Akkas Ali said no one was arrested in this connection.

Additional police forces have been sent at some important points in the city after the incidents, said OC.
