Dhaka: Railways Minister Mujibul Haque and his wife Honufa Akhter Rikta were blessed with twin boys early on Tuesday.

The minister’s wife gave birth to the babies around 12:15am at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics at Square Hospitals in Dhaka.

Both the twin and their mother are doing well, sources at the hospital said.

Dr. Nargis Fatema conducted the caesarian section.

The minister made headlines when he married a 29-year-old woman at the age of 67 on October 31 in 2014.

The couple has a girl child who was born May 28 in 2016 at the same hospital.
