Islamic University: University Grants Commission formed a probe committee to investigate the allegation of corruption against M Akam Uddin, the acting director of accounts of Islamic Universiy in Kushtia, IU registrar office sources said here on Wednesday.

UGC formed a three-member probe body to investigate the allegation headed by its member, Professor Shahnewaz while director of accounts M Mizanur Rahman and Ferdaous Jaman will act as members of the committee.

IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif told that he received a fax from UGC signed by its assistant director Rabiul Islam on Wednesday.
