The Budget Session of the 10th Parliament will continue till July12.

The decision came at the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the current Parliament held at Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday, reports the UNB.

Committee Chairman and Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury presided over the meeting.

During the Holy Ramadan, the session will start at 10:30am while it will resume its business at 3pm every day after Ramadan.

The Finance Minister will place the budget for the 2018-19 fiscal on June 7 at 12:30pm.

The supplementary budget will be present on June 11 after discussions on June 10 and 11.

The Finance Bill will be passed on June 27 while the budget for the 2018-19 fiscal will be passed on June 28.

The meeting also decided that the Speaker will extend or reduce the working days of the current session.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was greeted for successfully launching the Bangabandhu-1 Satellite and conferring DLit by Kabi Nazrul University, Asansol.
