BNP wants to make Khaleda Zia’s treatment an issue: Quader
Cumilla: Claiming that BNP has no headache about the treatment of their Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Sunday said it wants to make it an issue for waging a movement after eid.
‘BNP leaders are saying many things to make it (treatment) an issue for launching a movement after eid,’ he said while talking to reporters during a visit to Comilla-Noakhali road at Paduar Bazar.
Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said Khaleda Zia was offered to take treatment either at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) or the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka but she did not agree. ‘BSMMU provides high standard treatment. Even top Awami League leaders take treatment from this hospital.’
