Chattogram: The bodies of three tourists, who went missing from Banshbaria sea beach in Sitakundau pazila on Friday, were recovered from the same area on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Saiful, 27, Alauddin, 25, and Yeasin, 19, all residents of Jhautala in Chattogram city, reports the UNB.

Wasir Azad, an official of Sitakunda fire service, said a joint team of coast guard, Navy and fire service recovered the bodies from 1:00pm to 1:30pm.

Earlier, on June 22 last, two other tourists, hailing from Narayanganj, drowned in the Bay of Bengal near the sea beach.
