Naogaon: A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his rivals in Dosoti village of Manda upazila on Wednesday night.

The deceased was identified as Taijul Islam, 45, son of Saber Mandal of the village, reports the UNB.

 Mahbub Alam, inspector (investigation) of Manda Police Station, said Taijul had an enmity with Hridoy Hossain, son of Lutu Mukar.

On Wednesday night, Hridoy swooped on Taijul and stabbed him indiscriminately with a sharp weapon while he was sitting at a tea stall around 11:00pm, leaving him injured.

Later, Taijul was taken to Manda Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.
