Barishal: Road communication between Dhaka and Barishal remained suspended since early Tuesday following the collapse of a bailey bridge in Enna area of Gaurnadi upazila.

The bailey bridge collapsed when an overloaded truck was passing through it and halted the communication of several southern districts with the capital, causing immense sufferings to people, said locals, reports the UNB.

However, the repair work has begun immediately after the incident and was underway during filing of this report.
