Cox’s Bazar: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 18,863 Yaba tablets from Purbo Godar Beel in Teknaf upazila on Thursday night.

Acting on information, a team of RAB-7 conducted the drive in the area around 11:40 pm and arrested Sabbir Ahmed, 34, son of late Fazal Ahmed from Bara Habibpara village in the upazila, said a press release.

After searching his body, the elite force members recovered 18,860 Yaba tablets, it said.
