Winrock Int’l organizes Host Learning Workshop

Winrock International organized a Host Learning Workshop of the USAID-funded Asia Farmer–to–Farmer (F2F) Program on Tuesday at the BRAC Centre Inn in Dhaka.
A total of 68 participants from different government organizations, universities, national and international NGOs, donor-funded projects, and private sector agribusinesses attended the workshop, said a press release.
Asia Farmer-to-Farmer is a short-term volunteer technical assistance program. The primary goal of the Asia F2F Program is to generate rapid, sustainable, and broad-based food security and economic growth in the agricultural sector with a focus on Agricultural Education and Training (AET) and Youth Entrepreneurship development.
Asia F2F Program has fielded 99 volunteers from the US who have directly assisted more than 5,000 individuals and supported 84 host organizations by strengthening the capacity of AET service providers and youth-serving organizations.
In the workshop, the speakers, panel discussants and participants of breakout groups summarized key host successes and innovations, as well as ongoing challenges, and provided recommendations for sustainability of F2F impacts and improving the effectiveness of future F2F programs to increase agricultural sector productivity, profitability and strengthen agricultural sector.
