Bogura: Police arrested two people allegedly for violating a nurse of a private diagonostic center in Dupchachia upazila headquarter on July 27.

The arrestees are Zahidul Islam, 28 , son of Azizur Rahman hailing from Belgari village and Nasim,20, son of Abdur Rahim, resident of Khiali Pashimpara village in the same upazila.

Police arrested them after the victim filed a case with Dupchachia Police Station.

According to the case statement, on 27 July, Sohan hailing from a nearby village brought the girl to Manikganj field in the area around 9pm promising marriage. Later, Sohan and two other accomplices who appeared suddenly in the scene violated her by turn, leaving her senseless and fled the scene.

After regaining her senses at dawn, the victim girl went to Dupchachia Prime Diagnostic Center in wounded state and later filed a case with Dupchachia Police Station accusing three.

Confirming the arrest incident, Inspector (Investigation) of Dupchachia Police Station Shahidul Islam said the victim nurse would be sent to hospital for medical check-ups on Sunday.
