Narsingdi: At least three passengers of microbus were killed following a head-on collision with a bus in Sonamurir Tek area of Shibpur upazila on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately, said Abul Kamal Azad, officer-in-charge of Narsingdi Police Station, reports the UNB.

The accident took place around 7:30am when the Chandpur-bound microbus from Sylhet via Dhaka collided with a Sylhet-bound bus of ‘Mitali Paribahan’, leaving three passengers dead on the spot and injuring eight others.

The injured were taken to Narsingdi General Hospital from where two of them were referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
