Rajshahi: Police arrested a bus driver in connection with a road accident that left three people, including a schoolgirl dead, at Naudapara Bazar in the city, from Godagari upazila on Wednesday night.

The arrestee was identified as Jony, 36, son of Nurul Islam of Premtoli Faradpur area in Godagari upazila, reports the UNB.

ZillurRahman, officer-in-charge of Shah Makhdum Police Station, said after tracking the mobile phone of Jony police arrested him from his residence in the evening.

Earlier on Wednesday, three people, including a schoolgirl, were killed and four others injured when a bus ploughed through a bookshop at Naudapara in the city.
